Anti-Spam Policy
Last updated: 5 September 2026
Amino Engine is an email marketing platform. Brands use it to send email to people who asked to hear from them. We have zero tolerance for anything else.
The rule
Every recipient must have given permission. No purchased lists, no rented lists, no scraped addresses, no appended addresses, no "we assumed you would want this". Our customers agree to that when they open an account, and it is set out in full in our Acceptable Use Policy.
Every marketing message sent through us must also:
- come from a From name and address that honestly identify the sender;
- have a subject line that describes the message — no fake replies, fake receipts or fake delivery notices;
- carry a real physical postal address;
- carry a working unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately, with no
login and no confirmation step. We add the
List-Unsubscribeheader too, so the one-click button in Gmail, Apple Mail and Outlook works.
Once somebody unsubscribes, that account cannot email them again. Re-importing the address does not undo it — the never-send record survives on purpose.
What we do about it
We are not relying on customers to police themselves.
- Complaint and bounce rates are measured continuously, and the platform slows or stops an account's marketing sends automatically when they get too high. The exact thresholds are published in the Acceptable Use Policy.
- We watch feedback loops from mailbox providers and act on what they tell us.
- Accounts that break this policy get paused, suspended or closed. Where the risk to other senders is immediate, we pause first and discuss afterwards.
We do this because it is right, and because it is the only way the business works: mailbox providers judge our sending infrastructure as a whole, so one account mailing a bought list would cost every other brand its inbox placement.
Reporting spam or abuse
If you received a message you did not sign up for, tell us:
Please include, if you can:
- The full message including its headers (in Gmail: "Show original"; in Outlook: "View message source"). The headers are what let us find the account.
- The address it was sent to.
- Roughly when it arrived.
We read every report. We will investigate the account, and we will act on it.
You do not need to unsubscribe first, and you do not need to be a customer of ours to report something. If you would simply like the mail to stop, the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the message is the fastest route and works immediately.
If you are the brand's customer and want your data deleted, that request goes to the brand — they decide what they hold about you. Our Privacy Policy explains how, and we will help chase it if you cannot reach them.
Reporting a security problem
Security issues, including anything that could expose customer data, also go to support@aminoengine.com with "security" in the subject line. Please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before disclosing it publicly.
[COUNSEL / LUKE: decide whether to publish a formal vulnerability disclosure policy and a security.txt file before launch.]
