Getting started

This is the first ten minutes. You make an account, tell us what you sell, and land on Home.

Create your account

1. Go to app.aminoengine.com/signup?mode=new. The page says "Email for brands nobody else will carry."
2. Choose one of two ways in:
   • Press Continue with Google and pick your Google account. Nothing else to fill in.
   • Or type your email address and a password in the two boxes, then press Create my account.
3. If you are using a password, it has to be at least 10 characters. The screen tells you: "At least 10 characters. Anything you like — a phrase is easier to remember than a puzzle." A short sentence you will remember beats a puzzle you will not.

Next time you come back, go to app.aminoengine.com/signup and press Sign in. If the password has gone, press Forgot your password? underneath the button and we email you a link to set a new one.

Setup question one: what you sell, and where

Straight after signing up you land on a full-screen setup wizard. There are seven screens. Only the first one is compulsory — every other screen can wait, and Home will remind you about the ones you skipped.

Screen one asks "What do you sell, and where?"

1. Tap one tile for what you sell. The choices are Peptides, Research compounds, Supplements & nootropics, CBD & hemp, Kratom, Vape & tobacco, Adult, Firearms accessories, Crypto & finance, Telehealth / GLP-1 clinics, and Something else. If you pick Something else a box appears saying "Tell us what you sell" — type it in your own words.
2. Under "Where do you sell?" tap WooCommerce, Shopify, or No store yet.
   • WooCommerce changes the button at the bottom to Connect my store, because the very next thing that happens is that we send you to your own WordPress.
   • Shopify opens a box for your shop's address — the one ending in .myshopify.com — and a Connect my Shopify store button. Shopify asks you to approve the Amino Engine app, then sends you straight back. Shopify is in early access: if Shopify says the app cannot be installed on your shop, email support@aminoengine.com your .myshopify.com address and we send you your install link.
   • No store yet is fine. We skip the shop screen and set you up with a signup form and a welcome email instead.
3. Press the button at the bottom.

The rest of the wizard is: connect your store, set your sending address, check your brand colours, bring your people over, pick a goal, and turn on your first flow. You can press Skip for now on any of them and come back.

What Home shows

Home greets you by first name and has a Create campaign button in the top right.

Underneath, in order:

• A setup checklist. Six things, each with the reason and roughly how long it takes: Connect your store (5 minutes), Verify your sending address (10 minutes), Turn on your first flow (5 minutes), Add a signup form (5 minutes), Launch a welcome flow (5 minutes), Send your first campaign (10 minutes). The whole card disappears for good once you have sent your first campaign.
• Money. Email revenue, Orders from email, Email share of revenue, Revenue per delivered email, and a revenue chart day by day.
• What's earning and Top earners — flows against campaigns, then the individual emails ranked.
• Your list — people joining, minus people leaving.
• Engagement — click rate, open rate, unsubscribe rate, spam complaints.
• Sending health · last 24 hours — the numbers Gmail and Yahoo judge you on.
• Needs your attention — anything that can be fixed today.
• Recent campaigns, Live flows, and a calendar of what is scheduled.

Before you have connected a store, most of these read zero. That is not a fault. Nothing can be credited to email until orders are coming in.

Your free trial

You get 7 days with everything switched on, counted from the moment you sign up.

There is one limit, and it is on real sending only:

• Building is unlimited, during the trial and after it. Campaigns, flows, designs, imports, segments — none of it is counted.
• Tests to yourself are unlimited and are never counted.
• Real emails to your list are capped at 500 during the trial. The Home card says it plainly: "You have sent 12 of your 500 trial emails, and your trial has 5 days left. Tests to yourself do not count."

The cap exists so a first campaign cannot go out to a list nobody has heard from in a year. That is the single fastest way to wreck your own sending reputation, and ours.

When the seven days are up you pick a plan. If you do not, sending stops and the screen says "Your trial ended. Pick a plan to keep sending." Everything you built stays exactly where it is.

If it didn't work

• The Google button is not on the signup page. Google sign-in is only shown when it is switched on. Use the email and password boxes instead — they always work.
• "Create my account" does nothing. The password is probably under 10 characters. The browser will usually say so under the box.
• You cannot get past screen one. The button will not press until you have tapped a tile in both groups. The footer tells you which one is missing — "Pick what you sell.", "Tell us what you sell.", or "Pick where you sell."
• You signed up and landed back on the wizard. That is the wizard working. Screen one is the only thing that holds the app shut, and it takes two taps.
• The reset email never arrived. Check the junk folder, then try again — and check you typed the same address you signed up with. If it still does not come, email us.
• Home is full of zeros. You have not connected a store yet, or no orders have been credited to email yet. Work down the setup checklist.
