Amino Engine can connect to your Facebook and Instagram ads through Meta, so a brand can see and manage their advertising in the same place as their email. If you connected us, you can disconnect at any time and have everything we copied from Meta deleted. This page explains how, and what “everything” means.
The fastest way: disconnect in the app
Sign in to Amino Engine, open Ads → Connect Meta, and press Disconnect.
Three things happen straight away:
- The permission you gave Facebook is handed back, so we can no longer read or change anything on your account.
- The login we were holding is destroyed.
- Everything we had copied from Meta is deleted.
Nothing happens to your ads. Your campaigns keep running exactly as they were — we simply stop looking at them.
If you would rather email us
Write to support@aminoengine.com from the address on your account and say you want your Meta data deleted. Tell us the brand name so we can find the right account. We will do it and write back to confirm, normally within a few working days and always within 30 days.
If you removed Amino Engine from Facebook
If you deleted our app from Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, Facebook tells us automatically and the deletion starts on its own. Facebook shows you a confirmation code and a link; that link is a page on this site that tells you whether the deletion has finished.
What we delete
When a connection is deleted, all of this goes:
- The stored login. The credential that let us act on your ads account, and the record of which Facebook profile it belonged to.
- The copy we keep of your ad accounts. Account names, currency, status, payment-method details Meta showed us, and which Page and pixel each account uses.
- The copy we keep of your advertising. Campaigns, ad sets, ads, audiences and creatives as Meta described them, along with the reasons Meta gave for rejecting any ad.
- The performance figures. Daily spend, impressions, clicks, purchases and return-on-spend that we pulled from Meta’s reporting.
- The account activity log. Who changed what on your Meta accounts, as read from Meta’s own activity feed.
- Our change log for that connection. Every edit we made on your behalf, every alert we raised about those accounts, and every automatic-launch record tied to them.
What we keep, and why
- Your own settings and files. Ad templates you wrote, the rules you set, budgets and copy you typed, and images or videos you uploaded to us. These are your work, not Meta’s data, and deleting them would wipe your setup if you ever reconnected. Ask us and we will delete these too.
- The fact that a connection existed and when it ended. One line, with no Facebook identity attached to it. It is what lets us answer “when did this stop?” if you ask us later.
- Your Amino Engine account itself — your email, your plan, your subscribers. That is separate. To close the whole account, see the Privacy Policy.
What we never had in the first place
We do not hold your Facebook password, your friends, your messages, your photos, or anything from your personal profile. The only thing we ever ask Facebook for is permission to read and manage advertising, and the only identifying thing we store about you is the name and numeric id of the profile that granted it.
How long it takes
Disconnecting in the app is immediate. A request that arrives through Facebook or by email is normally done within a few working days, and always within 30 days.
